We started with a heavy-duty MDF core, which explains the 2.92 KG weight; it legitimately feels like a solid piece of furniture when you pick it up. The outside is finished in a smooth purple high-gloss lacquer, paired with a gold-tone key lock and a decorative tassel. Inside, we went with a patterned sand-beige velvet across a double-layer setup (the top tray simply lifts out) so you can fit an entire jewelry set in one place.
